HysetCo is strengthening its network of hydrogen stations in the Île-de-France region, France. The company has increased the distribution capacity of its Paris-Orly airport station to 1 tonne per day.

This project is the result of a collaboration with Groupe ADP and is supported by the French government, the European CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) Transport programme, and the Île-de-France Region.

The Paris-Orly Airport site plays a strategic role in the deployment of hydrogen mobility in dense urban areas. Located in close proximity to major transportation flows, the station is a key refuelling point for high-usage needs. With a new distribution capacity of 1 tonne per day, it can now fuel more than 500 vehicles daily.

This new station replaces the first hydrogen station in the Paris region, originally settled at the airport in 2017. As airport access roads account for up to 30% of non-flight-related carbon emissions, this initiative illustrates a strong commitment to cleaner and more efficient mobility solutions.

By increasing the capacity of its Orly station, HysetCo reaffirms its position as the leading hydrogen distributor in France, with 8 stations across the Île-de-France region designed to meet growing demand through efficient, accessible infrastructure.

Loïc Voisin, president of HysetCo, adds: ‘Multiplying our hydrogen distribution capacity at Orly by six is a major milestone in our mission to offer a zero-emission mobility solution that is comprehensive, consistent, and accessible to all. Today, HysetCo operates 800 hydrogen vehicles, the world’s largest hydrogen fleet and we plan to multiply this figure by five within the next five years, particularly in the fast-growing segment of light commercial vehicles.’

This project is supported by the French government, the European Union through the CEF Transport program, and the Île-de-France Region, key public partners. It is fully aligned with both regional and European strategies for energy transition and the reduction of gas emissions.
